Protocol 1

Coffee Enema

The coffee enema is one of the oldest and most powerful detoxification tools. Caffeine absorbed through the colon wall stimulates the liver to release bile, flushing accumulated toxins and supporting glutathione production. Dr. Houck recommends this as a cornerstone of the detox protocol.

Preparation Instructions

Measure water: Use 32 oz of distilled water — not tap water. Distilled water is essential to avoid introducing additional chemicals during the enema.

Add coffee: Add 3 tablespoons of organic light roast coffee to the water. Dr. Houck recommends an Oregon light roast for best results.

Boil: Bring to a boil on low heat for 3 minutes, then cover with a lid and let steep for 15 minutes.

Cool and strain: Allow the coffee to cool to body temperature (comfortable to the touch), then strain out all grounds before use.

Lubricate: Use coconut oil or olive oil as lubricant. Do not use petroleum jelly (Vaseline) — it is a petrochemical and defeats the purpose.

Hold 12 minutes: Retain the enema for a full 12 minutes to allow the liver to fully respond and release bile. Lie on your right side if possible.

⚠ Important: Always use distilled water. Never use petroleum-based lubricants. Begin with a water-only enema if you are new to this practice. Consult Dr. Houck before starting if you have any underlying health concerns.

      Coffee selection matters: Always use organic coffee — non-organic
      beans carry pesticide residues that are absorbed directly into the bloodstream during an enema.
      Do not select a low-acid variety. You need a high palmitic acid content,
      which is what stimulates the liver's glutathione S-transferase enzyme and drives bile release.
      Low-acid coffees have been processed to reduce this, defeating the therapeutic purpose.

Ozone Ear Insufflation

Usage Protocol

Assemble the circuit: Connect the ozone generator to Bubbler 1 (filled with distilled water), then Bubbler 2 (packed with a damp paper towel), then to the stethoscope ear cannula. Use the Everflo connector tubes at each junction. See the schematic above.

Why two bubblers? The distilled water bubbler cools and humidifies the ozone — dry ozone irritates tissue. The damp paper-towel bubbler acts as a secondary safety buffer to catch any remaining fine particles.

Session length: Run for 10 minutes per session, 2–4 times daily. Begin at the lowest generator output setting and increase gradually over several days as tolerated.

Room ventilation: Perform in a well-ventilated room or near an open window. While the dose reaching the lungs is minimal, excess ozone in the air should not be inhaled directly in large amounts.

⚠ Important: Never apply dry (unhumidified) ozone directly to the ear canal. Both bubblers must be in place before use. Do not use if you have a ruptured eardrum. Consult Dr. Houck regarding appropriate output levels for your situation.
